Beneath the coal black skies of Lake County, California, at the foot of Mt. Konocti, lies Taylor Observatory. In continuous operation for over 25 years, this facility features a classroom, research grade telescope under a dome, and a planetarium. It is well equipped to help students and the general public learn about astronomy.
