Taylor Observatory

Beneath the coal black skies of Lake County, California, at the foot of Mt. Konocti, lies Taylor Observatory. In continuous operation for over 25 years, this facility features a classroom, research grade telescope under a dome, and a planetarium. It is well equipped to help students and the general public learn about astronomy. At least one public event is held each month, as well as a number of private events that are scheduled on a reservation basis.
